About

Formed in 2010, Gran is a collective practice investigating the use of code and programming as a form of making architecture. The main interest of Gran is the possibilities and characteristics of programs as scores, and their use to notate an architecture made of sequences and events. The members of Gran are Pablo Miranda Carranza, architect and researcher working with code, Åsmund Izaki, also an architect interested in algorithms and programs, and Ami Izaki, both a graphic and experience designer.
